Record the past year's events on paper by scanning pictures and printing journaling to match each photo.
Each year past represents twelve months of memories. Guest Brandy Hackman offers an idea for documenting a year to remember.

Materials:

card stock
vellum
embossed vellum die-cuts
fiber
needle
adhesive
photo scanner
printer

  1. Scan your favorite photos that were taken throughout the past year.

  2. Reduce the photo size to 10 percent, so that photos are about one inch.

  3. Print photos on lightly colored card stock (figure A).

  4. Create and print out a title and journaling (figure B) that coordinates with each photo on the same color card stock as the photos.

  5. Trim out the title and journaling on long strips of cardstock (figure C), then mat on vellum and again on dark colored card stock

  6. Place on background page in chronological order.

  7. Mat a holiday photo on matching card stock.

  8. Attach holiday vellum die cuts (figure D) to card stock. Stitch the die-cuts to the cardstock using a needle and fiber.
