Country Modern, Colorful Kitchen, Rag Dolls

Joy Haley's home is a study in the minimalist style of country design with sparsely adorned white walls and country antiques. Ice cream shop colors and vintage floral fabrics make Cheryl Alexander's country kitchen quite colorful indeed. White wood cabinets are a clean backdrop for colorful furnishings and accessories such as the three ice cream shop barstools, each painted a different candy color. African-American artist, Johanna Simon adds her special touch to an old-fashioned rag doll, creating and designing her own dolls to add a whimsical touch to any country decor.
