Brooks Utley

A Salt Lake City native, Brooks Utley, a carpenter in HGTV’s $250,000 Challenge, was introduced to construction at an early age by his father. By age 12, Brooks discovered his talent for design and carpentry in helping his father build houses. After working in other areas of construction and landscaping design, Brooks started his own company where he tackled a variety of projects including design, home remodeling and custom landscaping.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2002, Brooks joined HGTV’s Designed to Sell team, which allows him to combine his construction expertise with his love of acting.
