Determine Look
To ensure the proper duvet update, decide on overall intended look. Tape trim is best for transitional and modern aesthetics. Tassel tape is ideal for more formal, traditional styles.
Measure Duvet
Using tailor tape, determine length and width of duvet. Jot dimensions down on notepad using pencil. Referring to measurements on notepad, ask fabric store employee for help choosing proper yardage.
Prep Duvet
Lay duvet out on a long, flat surface. Protect both the surface and duvet by placing towels down. Once towels are in place, lay duvet down, then remove wrinkles with iron.
