Hide CaptionShow CaptionVenetian plaster and art give this bathroom a warm glow.
Sheridan's design called for replacing the bathroom's picture window while still maintaining the wonderful view of Lake Washington. Now the walls have a great glow, thanks to the Venetian plaster. The pattern of the travertine on the floor adds texture, and the continuation of the mosaic on the perimeter of the room and around the vanities really brings it all together. The art glass outside the shower is unique and unexpectedly puts a beautiful piece of art in an everyday space. (The local artist Sheridan commissioned to create the art glass also made the sconces above both vanities.) Sharon especially loves the hidden his and her hampers in the vanity. Designer Faith Sheridan skillfully transformed Chris and Sharon's timeworn bathroom into a tranquil haven.
