Poor execution of ideas and a lack of color on adjoining walls create a sense that this room is incomplete. Although the overall idea of the back wall is an interesting one that employs colored tape to create an abstract "striping" effect, a simple gallon of paint to address the other two walls would have taken this design several notches up. Perhaps a warm orange undercoat or something as understated as a neutral backdrop would have given a greater sense of completion and finish.
